The Fort Villa has provided its guests the service and charm of a small exclusive hotel for the past ten years. We are now able to offer one of Bequia's most charming hideaways as an up market rental villa property.

The Fort: This intimate castle-like estate house has been built centuries ago as a defendable plantation house. The location on one of the highest hills of Bequia was originally selected for strategic rather than esthetic reasons. With its beautifully groomed 30 acres of tropical gardens, romantic dining room fire place and elegant old world charm the fort offers you the perfect setting for an intimate getaway vacation.

Amenities: As a villa rental, you will have exclusive use of the entire property and estate house: 6 beautifully decorated double rooms, swimming pool, lovely gardens. The premises will be closed to the public. In short, total privacy.

A household staff of 4 including the hotel's chef will cater to your every need. The proprietor, Mr. Otmar Schaedle, resides in a private cottage on the estate and is always available to assist you in any way.
A jeep is included in the rental rate.
Local market shopping and provisioning will be handled by staff as part of the service. The cost of the food and beverages, however, is additional and will be added to the final bill. This will be at costprice, which works out considerably cheaper than eating in restaurants!
Cost for shopping for food is between $1000-$2000 per week (2-12 persons). Daily menu planning, if desired, will be in consultation with the guests.
