The Crew: David and Judy sailed Metani from Australia to the Caribbean in 1993 and have since made the Grenadines their home.

David is a qualified shipwright, with both Master V and RYA Yachmaster oceanYour hosts in the Grenadines going tickets. As a young man his first love was rowing, and during the 1960's he represented Australia on 5 different occasions including the Tokyo and Mexican Olympics, winning a silver medal during that time. But sailing was to become his main interest in life, and during the 30 years he has accumulated some 120,000 miles which has included ocean racing in the Roaring Forties to sedate sailing in some of the most beautiful and interesting parts of the world.

Judy, chef extraordinaire and mother of three children, learnt her art over the years as she traveled and entertained internationally. Judy delights in cooking all types of meals, from Asian to Greek to French, and while in the Caribbean specializes in the local cuisine with an emphasis on local fresh produce. Versatility is her forte and she can cater for special diets with mouth watering results. With a college degree in Early Childhood Development she owned her own pre-school in Sydney before setting out to sail the world on Metani. Judy adores children and welcomes families on board, knowing how to cater for their special needs.
