The Frangipani hotel is located along the "Belmont walkway", Bequia, the closest to the town Port Elizabeth. It has been a family estate since the beginning of the last century and is now beautifully restored as a hotel, bar and restaurant. Many people return to this home away from home year after year.

The rooms clearly fall in two categories: luxury accommodation consists of 10 comfortable garden cottages constructed of local stone and tropical hardwood. Each has its own bathroom, bedroom and deck and 6 of them have an additional dressing room. Economy accommodation are the simple rooms upstairs in the old family house (with shared bathroom). 

The Frangipani waterfront restaurant and bar are the most popular meeting place for visitors and locals alike, especially on the weekly "jump up" night on Thursdays with live steelband and BBQ. The restaurant offers  international and Caribbean cuisine and the selection of delicious tropical cocktails at the bar is definitely worth your attention!

Nearby: the town of Port Elizabeth with its sometimes bustling waterfront, many other bars, restaurants and boutiques, tennis court, diveshops, kayak/windsurf rental, car/bike rental and the lovely beaches in Admiralty bay are just a short walk or water taxi ride away!
