The Gingerbread hotel, bar, restaurant and cafe are situated at the walkway along Admiralty Bay, Bequia, 50 feet from the sea and a few minutes walk from the town Port Elisabeth.

The hotel is constructed in 1998 in  the colonial "Gingerbread" style: elaborate hand carved fretworks, made by local artists.

Luxury Bequia suites are six large studio apartments, styled with Brazilian hardwood and Italian tiles. Each has a private bathroom, kitchenette, lounge area, covered porch overlooking Admiralty Bay, beds are romantic four poster king size beds (top floor) or twin beds (ground floor). Every suite has a third bed as well.

Standard accommodation offers bathroom and balcony, kitchenette, comfortable beds.

Amenities: All apartments have a built in safe, fans, and daily maid service is provided. 

The Gingerbread restaurant is open all day and offers life entertainment twice a week. Cuisine is international and Caribbean (try one of their famous curry dinners!).

The open air cafe under the trees at the beach is a popular gathering place during the day to have a coffee and homemade cake, BBQ lunch and  simply enjoy your vacation!

Extras: Use of the tennis court is complimentary for guests.

Nearby: the town of Port Elizabeth with its sometimes bustling waterfront, many other bars, restaurants and boutiques. Tennis court, diveshop and kayak/windsurf rental are next door, car/bike rental can be arranged and the lovely beaches in Admiralty bay are just a short walk or water taxi ride away!
