The Fort: This intimate castle-like estate house is ideal for individual travelers and romantic couples. It has been built centuries ago as a defendable plantation house. The location on one of the highest hills of Bequia was originally selected for strategic rather than esthetic reasons. Now, from the cool and breezy premises you have a breathtaking view of Mustique and the southern Grenadines. 

With its beautifully groomed 30 acres of tropical gardens, romantic dining room fire place and elegant old world charm the old fort offers you a the perfect setting  for an intimate getaway vacation.

Rooms:  The 5 rooms are constructed of the authentic thick stone walls (they'll keep the tropical heat out!) and matte finish clay tile floors. They include a comfortable sitting area and large bath with shower. The classic ambience is continued in the furnishings made of rare tropical hardwoods.

The restaurant In the dining room the chef will delight your palate with fresh garden produce tastefully prepared with a European touch.  Everything from the old fort's own farm fresh eggs and home-baked bread to specialties including fresh barbecued fish, Lobster Grenadine, and Conch Old Fort, are prepared with local ingredients. Many of the desserts feature seasonal fruit from the estate's orchard. Experience exquisite cuisine in a relaxed and romantic setting.
